Hit your mark, build confidence at women’s archery clinic in Hanover next Saturday
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Time to hit your mark! Women looking to sharpen their archery skills and build confidence can gather in Hanover County on Saturday morning for the Women's 3D Archery Clinic.
From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, women interested in honing their archery skills. can join the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) for the Cavalier Rifle and Pistol Club at 14151 Boondock Lane in Hanover's Montpelier area.
Per the DWR website, the clinic is "perfect for anyone looking to improve their accuracy and technique" and is tailored toward archers all levels of experience.
"Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through various exercises and drills to help you become a more confident archer," the DWR website reads.
This clinic allows people to learn from the best and connect with other women passionate about archery. The event can also be used to complete the Hunting Certification in the Virginia Outdoor Women (VOW) Program.
The cost to attend is $30.
