Hopewell opens emergency shelter amid wintry weather
HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — The city of Hopewell has opened an emergency shelter to assist residents during the winter storm.
Hopewell officials said the emergency shelter for area residents will open at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, at Hopewell High School, 400 S. Mesa Drive.

The facility will remain open until weather conditions improve, officials said.

Hopewell residents seeking shelter are asked to bring a photo ID for admission. Those traveling to the shelter should do so with caution. Folks who need transportation assistance can call 804-352-4010.
