House fire leaves Chesterfield family of four without a home

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A house fire displaced a family of four in Chesterfield County on Monday.
At 5:19 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, crews with Chesterfield County Fire & EMS responded to the 13300 block of Old Barn Court in the Brandermill area for report of a house fire.
When fire crews arrived, they discovered a cooking-related fire in the kitchen. The fire was marked under control in 15 minutes.

There were no reported injuries.
One adult and three children were displaced by the fire. According to fire officials, that family is currently being assisted by the American Red Cross.
