Infant dies in Prince Edward, sheriff’s office investigating
PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Authorities are investigating after an infant died in Prince Edward County on Tuesday.
The morning of Tuesday, April 22, the Prince Edward County Sheriff's Office received a report about an infant death in the 3900 block of Pin Oak Road.
The baby was taken to the Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, where they were pronounced deceased.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding this death are not yet known. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond will determine the infant's cause and manner of death.
