‘Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert’ to bring live performance to Dominion Energy Center
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Community members are invited to an immersive evening as the musical fantasy film "Labyrinth" takes center stage at the Dominion Energy Center later this year.
"Jim Henson's Labyrinth: In Concert" will bring the iconic '80s film to the large screen, accompanied by a live band performance of the original soundtrack.
The 60-city North American tour celebrating the movie's 40th anniversary will make a stop in Richmond on Saturday, Nov. 21, after a Nov. 20 stop in Roanoke.
Starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, the movie features some of Bowie's original songs like "Magic Dance," "Underground" and "As the World Falls Down." The production with Bowie's original vocals is brought to life by Black Ink Presents, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, on the Dominion Energy Center's website.
