Journey bringing farewell tour to Charlottesville

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) -- The beloved American rock band Journey is bringing its farewell tour to Charlottesville in spring 2026.

Journey, best known for hit songs like "Don't Stop Believin'," has announced its "Final Frontier" farewell tour for 2026.

Charlottesville's John Paul Jones Arena is one of 60 stops along the tour. Journey will bid Central Virginia goodbye at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Tickets can be purchased online starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14. There are also multiple presales available to select groups, including a "Local Presale" that begins 24 hours earlier than the general sale.
