RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A kitten was found under the hood of a Richmond animal control officer's car Tuesday morning.

According to Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC), a kitten was found under the hood of an animal control officer's car in the morning on Tuesday, June 10.

When the officer turned off their car's engine, RACC said its staff heard a meow. An RACC staff member was able to remove the skid plate from underneath the car and then took the kitten out of the car unharmed.
