Lane closures for multiple Richmond road projects extended

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Lane closures related to multiple ongoing road projects in Richmond have been extended through the end of November.

On Friday, Nov. 14, the city's Department of Public Works (DPW) announced that eight stretches of Richmond roadways would continue to see daily lane closures through Saturday, Nov. 29, to allow for the completion of ongoing road projects.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until Nov. 29, there will be intermittent lane and sidewalk closures in the following areas:

  • 25th Street between Broad Street and Grace Street
  • Marshall Street between 25th Street and 21st Street
  • 21st Street between Marshall Street and Broad Street
  • Hermitage Road between Laburnum Avenue and Westbrook Avenue
  • Westbrook Avenue between Hermitage Road and Brook Road
  • Jackson Street between 1st Street and 3rd Street
  • 25th Street between Broad Street and Grace Street
  • Marshall Street between 25th Street and 21st Street

Conduit and junction boxes will be installed in the first three areas listed above, while paving and sidewalk repair will be worked on in the latter five areas.
