Large fight forces Short Pump Mall to close early

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police responded to a large group of people fighting at Short Pump Mall on Saturday night, resulting in the mall closing early.

On Saturday, March 14 at 7:11 p.m., Henrico Police officers responded to Short Pump Mall, located at 11800 W. Broad Street, for a report of a large group of people fighting.

Once on the scene, officers assisted with ensuring the mall was brought into order. Initially, there were reports of gunshots. However, police confirmed that no shots were fired.

Henrico Police stated that the mall closed early and there were no reported injuries.
