Lebanese Food Festival to celebrate 40 years of heritage and culture

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Celebrate the Lebanese cultural experience at the 40th annual Lebanese Food Festival in Henrico County this May.

According to an announcement from the Lebanese Food Festival, the event will be held at St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, located at 4611 Sadler Road in Glen Allen. It will run on three separate days, including:

  • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 16
  • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 17
  • 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18

The event celebrates 40 years of Lebanese culture with this year's festival, which aims to bring families and friends together to blend entertainment, music and Lebanese food and culture, according to the announcement.

Organizers said the event will showcase authentic Lebanese cuisine, including savory kabobs, creamy hummus, crispy falafel and baklava, as well as drinks like Lebanese beer and wine. It will also feature traditional Lebanese music, dance and a playground for kids.
