Legendary Santa is coming to town: Tickets go on sale next week
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Legendary Santa is coming to Richmond for its 89th anniversary!
From Black Friday to Christmas Eve, this holiday season the Children's Museum of Richmond is once again inviting the community to its longstanding tradition of seeing Legendary Santa.
Tickets went on sale on Oct. 20 for museum members, however non-members can reserve their visits starting next week on Monday, Nov. 3, at 9 a.m.
The two ticket options for visitors are as follows:
- Legendary Santa Chimney Time Tickets: $70 per ticket, which allows visitors to see Santa come down the chimney live.
- Legendary Santa Visit Tickets: $35 per ticket.
Each ticket includes a visit with Legendary Santa for up to six individuals and a free emailed photo. Discounts are available for families who receive SNAP, EBT or WIC benefits.
Organizers said Chimney Time tickets are sold out on Saturdays and Sundays for the 2025 season.
All tickets must be reserved in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted.
Legendary Santa has been a beloved family tradition for residents in the Richmond area since 1936, organizers said.
The event began on the 7th floor of the now-closed Miller & Rhoads department store and later found its permanent home at the Children's Museum of Richmond in 2005.
