Library of Virginia to host How to Care for Photographs webinar

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Library of Virginia is hosting an online class this Thursday focusing on how to take care of photographs.
The webinar will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will include Sarah Casto, a photograph and paper conservator at the Ohio State University Libraries, talking about several topics, such as:
- Sharing expertise on photograph care
- Discussing experience as a photo conservator
- Dos and don'ts for photograph care
- Information about identification, storage, labeling and basic emergency preparedness
While the event is free to attend, registration is required. Once registered, information about joining by Zoom will be shared with those participating.
