LIST: Central Virginia schools closed, delayed Tuesday after storms
LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One Central Virginia school district has closed and two others have two-hour delays on Tuesday following Monday's storms that brought power outages and downed trees in the area.
The following school systems have announced alterations to their school day on Tuesday, March 17, following Monday's storms:
- Louisa County Public Schools: Schools closed
- Powhatan County Public Schools: Operating on a two-hour delay
- Henrico County Public Schools: Twin Hickory Elementary School and Deep Run High School will open with a two-hour delay, while all other Henrico schools will operate as scheduled
