LIST: Central Virginia schools closed, virtual, delayed on Monday due to winter weather
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Some Central Virginia school districts will be closed, shift to virtual learning or operate on a two-hour delay on Monday due to the winter weather.
School districts across Central Virginia will either be closed, have virtual learning or open on a two-hour delay due to the winter storm traveling across Virginia, which has created dangerous road conditions.
The following school districts will be closed on Monday, Feb. 23:
- Northumberland County Public Schools
The following school district will have a remote learning day on Monday:
- King and Queen County Public Schools
- Lancaster County Public Schools
The following school districts will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday:
- Brunswick County Public Schools
- Buckingham County Public Schools
- Caroline County Public Schools
- Charles City County Public Schools
- Cumberland County Public Schools
- Dinwiddie County Public Schools
- Essex County Public Schools
- Fredericksburg City Public Schools
- Hanover County Public Schools
- King William County Public Schools
- Louisa County Public Schools
- Middlesex County Public Schools
- New Kent County Public Schools
- Petersburg City Public Schools
- Prince George County Public Schools
- Richmond County Public Schools
- Spotsylvania County Public Schools
- Stafford County Schools
- Sussex County Public Schools
