RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking for a wintery activity in Central Virginia? Here's a list of ice skating rinks in the Richmond area. Richmond Ice Zone Richmond Ice Zone, located at 636 Johnston Willis Drive in Chesterfield County, offers year-round public ice skating. Skates are available for rent. The rink also offers birthday parties, skating lessons and more. According to its website, admission is $16 and rental skates are $4, according to its website. SkateNation Plus SkateNation Plus is a year-round rink located at 4350 Pouncey Tract in the Short Pump area of Henrico County. Stony Point Fashion Park Located in Richmond, Stony Point Fashion Park's ice skating rink opened for the season in mid-November. The rink is open through Jan. 1. Hopewell Ice Skating Rink Hopewell Ice Skating Rink, located at 301 Randolph Road, is open from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 5 through Jan. 4.
