Whether you're celebrating self-love, friendship or romantic love on Valentine's Day, 8News has compiled a list of events for all. ❤️The Silent Valentine at The Valentine❤️ From 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, folks can celebrate Valentine's Day at a silent headphone party at The Valentine. According to organizers, your wireless headphones will have multiple live DJ channels that you can pick from. As well as music, attendees can enjoy glow-in-the-dark accessories, Valentine's Day cocktails available for purchase and photo opportunities. The soirée will be held from 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 until 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Immortal Forest, located at 123 East Main St. Formal or semi-formal vampiric attire is encouraged for all attendees. A Vampire King and Queen will be crowned to those who are deemed best-dressed. A $50 gift card will be given to both the king and queen. In addition, prizes will be given to attendees with the best makeup, the best fangs and more. Attendees can also enjoy beverages from the private bar and photo opportunities. At any time from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, folks can enjoy a special pairing of James River wines and Geescakes' mini cheesecakes. Patrons will get a flight of four wines, each paired with a mini cheesecake in one of the following flavors: strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter cheesecake, peaches and cream cheesecake and cookies and cream cheesecake.
