Louisa County schools starting with 2-hour delay on Monday
LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Louisa County Public Schools has announced that classes will start with a two-hour delay on Monday, Feb. 17, due to power outages affecting the area.
According to a social post from the school division, overnight crews were able to either restore or maintain power at all six schools in the district.
"However, we also understand that there are still some power outages at various locations throughout the county," the social post reads. "If an outage is impacting your child’s ability to attend school today, please reach out to your child’s school and we will work with you through your family’s situation."
Early morning dropoff will also be provided at schools, beginning at 7:15 a.m.
