Louisa County Sheriff’s Office to host rabies clinic
LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Louisa County Sheriff's Office is hosting its annual rabies clinic in April.
People can bring their pets to the Louisa County Fairgrounds at 208 Fredericksburg Ave on Sunday, April 12 for a drive-through rabies clinic.
The clinic is open to everyone from noon to 3 p.m., but people are encouraged to pre-register by April 1 at this link -- from 11 a.m. to noon only pre-registered pets will be accepted. There will be extra vaccines while supplies last for those who didn't preregister.
This is a cash only event -- with exact cash required -- and will cost $15 per animal.
Event guidelines are as follows:
- Stay in your vehicle at all times unless asked to exit
- Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier
- Enter the fairgrounds from Fredericksburg Ave only
