Major progress at LEGO Group’s Regional Center construction site in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Major progress has been made on the construction site of LEGO Group's Regional Center in Prince George County, which initially broke ground back in November.

In a December 2025 post, Prince George County officials said that big steps have been made on the construction site for the new LEGO facility since the groundbreaking ceremony on Nov. 13.

These new changes include the fully shaped building pad, and the first few walls have gone up for the 2-million-square-foot facility.

Once completed, this $366 million distribution center will create over 300 new jobs and play a vital role in the new LEGO Group's factory, which is being constructed in Chesterfield County.
