Man arrested in North Carolina after deadly Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was arrested in North Carolina in connection with a deadly March shooting in Richmond.
According to the Richmond Police Department, 25-year-old Tre'Shawn Robb of Richmond was arrested and charged in connection with a deadly March shooting on Caulder Court.
At around 9:12 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, Richmond Police officers were called to the 3800 block of Caulder Court for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 24-year-old Zarkee Carter of Richmond down and unresponsive in a residence with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Authorities said a second victim, an unidentified woman, was also found at the residence with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital with an injury that was not considered to be life-threatening.

On July 2, Robb was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was extradited back to Richmond on Monday, Aug. 4.
According to police, Robb has been charged with murder, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, armed burglary with the intent to commit a murder and maliciously discharging a firearm in an occupied building.
