Man found dead near wastewater treatment plant in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found dead near Richmond's wastewater treatment plant Sunday afternoon.
Richmond Police received a report of a person down on the 1400 block of Brander Street on Sunday, April 6.
According to the Richmond Police Department, at around 2:22 p.m., when officers arrived, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of the time of reporting, there are no indications of foul play -- Major Crimes detectives will investigate to determine the cause and manner of death.
