Man found dead with gunshot wounds in Richmond’s Southside
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found dead with gunshot wounds in Richmond's Southside Wednesday morning. Officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 2800 block of Broad Rock Boulevard in the city's Southside for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man who had gunshot wounds lying on the ground. Officials said he was pronounced dead at the scene. As police responded to the scene, they received a call for sounds of gunfire on Snead Road. Police said it is believed that the man was shot on Snead Road, and was likely then taken to Broad Rock Boulevard.
