Man hospitalized after shooting in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is in the hospital after he was shot in Richmond's Southside late Wednesday night.
Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1600 block of Rosecrest Avenue for report of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to a local hospital. Police could not provide the extent of his injuries at this time.
