Man injured after being shot in the leg in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is injured after police said he was shot in the leg along Commerce Road in Richmond's Southside Wednesday evening.
At around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to a report of a person shot along the 4400 block of Commerce Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound to his left leg. Police said he was immediately taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
