Man injured following shooting in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is injured after police said he was shot in Richmond's Southside early Tuesday morning.
At 1:22 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 3800 block of Guilder Lane for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found a man with an apparent gunshot wound who was then immediately taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
