Man shot in Richmond arrives at hospital, police investigating

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a man who was shot multiple times on Thursday night arrived at a hospital. At around 10:26 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, officers were called to the 1400 block of Jennie Scher Road for the report of a person shot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found evidence of a shooting -- however, the victim was no longer there. Officers were then called to a hospital at around 11:23 p.m. for the report of a man who arrived in a private vehicle with gunshot wounds. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
