Man shot in the arm, injured on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was found shot in the arm on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond's Southside during Friday's early morning hours.
At 2:32 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 6000 block of Midlothian Turnpike for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound to his right arm.
He was immediately taken to a local hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 804-646-5100.
