Man shot in the hand arrives at Richmond hospital, police investigating
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man who had been shot in the hand arrived at a local hospital Wednesday evening, after which police are investigating.
At around 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center for a report of a gunshot victim who had walked in.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the right hand. Police said he could not provide a location where the shooting occurred.
His injury is considered non-life-threatening, according to police.
Officials continue to investigate.
