Man shot in the leg after vehicle hit by gunfire in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was shot in the leg after police say his vehicle was hit by gunfire in Chesterfield County late Saturday night.
At around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the area of Cogbill Road and Castlewood Road for a report of a shooting.
Police said a man was in a vehicle when gunshots hit the vehicle.
The man was hit in the leg and was taken by a third party to a local hospital, with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
