Maymont hosts Summer Kickoff Concert this Friday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Want to enjoy music under the stars this weekend? This Friday evening, Maymont is hosting a Summer Kickoff Concert, featuring live music, food trucks and more.
The Summer Kickoff Concert will take place Friday, June 6, from 5 to 10 p.m., at Maymont on the Carriage House Lawn, located at 1700 Hampton Street.
General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children between one and 16-years-old, and infants are free. For Maymont Members, tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. For Museums for All Members, tickets are $3 for adults with a limit of four tickets, children are free.
The concert lineup will feature rock band Three Sheets to the Wind and the Tom Petty tribute band Full Moon Fever.
According to Maymont, these items are the items that attendees are permitted and not permitted to bring to the kickoff concert:
- What to bring: lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray, small umbrellas and reusable water bottles.
- What to leave at home: tents, coolers, outside food and drinks, pets, balloons, bikes and scooters.
In addition, there will also be food from delicious food trucks, as well as beer, cider and wine available for purchase during the concert.
