Missing 82-year-old man found safe

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- An 82-year-old Chesterfield County man with dementia who was missing has been found safe, according to police.
At about 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, the Chesterfield County Police Department issued a missing persons alert for an 82-year-old man.
He was last seen leaving his home in his car around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The man was later found safe, according to an update shared by police at noon on Thursday, Aug. 14.
