Multi-vehicle crash causes delays for drivers on I-64 in New Kent

NEW KENT, Va. (WRIC) -- A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 is causing delays for New Kent County drivers Saturday morning.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) first reported the crash at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, June 21. The crash is located at mile marker 214 on I-64 westbound near the Route 155 exit.
Traffic is backed up about 1.5 miles, according to the department.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
