Multi-vehicle crash causes delays on I-64 in New Kent

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 is causing delays for drivers in New Kent County.
The crash was first reported on the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) just after noon on Thursday, May 8, and is located on I-64 westbound, near exit 211, or Route 106. The west right shoulder is closed.
VDOT said the crash is causing about 2.5 miles of delays.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
