Nealy 100,000 homes, businesses without power in Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Nearly 100,000 homes and businesses are without power throughout Central Virginia Wednesday morning.

As of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the following localities were experiencing power outages, according to Dominion Energy:

  • Richmond: 16,236 homes and businesses without power
  • Henrico County: 21,749 homes and businesses without power
  • Chesterfield County: 35,954 homes and businesses without power
  • Powhatan County: 7,679 homes and businesses without power
  • Hanover County: 7,820 homes and businesses without power
  • Prince Edward County: 3,276 homes and businesses without power
  • Amelia County: 1,339 homes and businesses without power
