New Freedom Outdoors location to open in Henrico

HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) -- The former Colonial Heights Shooting Academy is now Freedom Outdoors after its closure at the end of 2024.
The academy is closing due to “market volatility, inflation and other factors” after 12 years of business, according to previous 8News coverage.
The new 60,000 square foot Henrico location will be the second Freedom Outdoors location in Virginia, and fourth in the United states. Other locations include, Virginia Beach. VA, Douglasville. GA and Midtown. GA.
