New LEGO store coming to Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A more than 3,000-square-foot LEGO store is opening in Henrico County in early November.

In an Oct. 30 press release, the LEGO Group announced that a new LEGO store will open within Henrico's Short Pump Town Center on Friday, Nov. 7.

Visitors to the 3,121-square-foot store will be able to browse LEGO's extensive range of products -- including exclusives, per officials -- and get advice on their next build from its "Brick Specialists."

LEGO enthusiasts interested in checking out the store on opening day can attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, take part in a mystery mural building activity and enjoy a "local LEGO Users Group display," officials said in the release.
