New sporting and outdoor store coming to Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new Academy Sports + Outdoors store is coming to Chesterfield County in May.

In May 2025, a new Academy Sports + Outdoors store is expected to open in Chesterfield County. According to a representative from the store, this 62,500 square foot location will be the fourth store in Virginia -- offering a variety of sporting and outdoor products.

The new store is located at 10400 Midlothian Turnpike in North Chesterfield, situated near Pocono Crossing and Sturbridge Drive.

From game day gear to outdoor essentials, Academy Sports + Outdoors offers a wide selection, including popular name brands and exclusive private labels.
