Norfolk man charged after ABC store’s burglary in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Norfolk man is facing several charges after police said he broke into a Virginia ABC store in Prince George County Thursday evening.
At 9:38 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, officers with the Prince George County Police Department responded to a reported burglary at the ABC store on Whitehill Boulevard.
Police determined that a man had broken into the store through the glass storefront and loaded multiple bottles of liquor into a box and a duffel bag. He fled the area after.
Officials said they found 21-year-old Robert Tyler Bolsinger-Hartshorn, of Norfolk, and his car through surveillance and coordination with regional law enforcement. He was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
Bolsinger-Hartshorn is being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond. He is facing several charges, including:
- Commercial burglary
- Destruction of property
- Wearing a mask in public
- Petit larceny
