One of Chesterfield’s own could be Lay’s $1 million winner for her chip idea
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- What's your $1 million potato chip flavor idea? Neelia Lynn of Chesterfield County's answer to that question earned her a top 3 spot in Lay's "Do Us A Flavor" contest, beating out more than 700,000 other entries.
Lynn, a Chesterfield native, is the creative mind behind one of three fan-suggested chip flavors battling it out for a $1 million prize.
Her flavor, "Korean-Style Fried Chicken," is described as a savory potato chip experience that Lynn cooked up by drawing on her family's time in South Korea, according to a Lay's representative.

Lynn's competitors are "Valentina & Lime," submitted by Araceli Huerta of California, and "Bacon Grilled Cheese," submitted by Paula George of Oklahoma.
The winner of this contest and the $1 million prize will be chosen by fans.
"Potato chip lovers in Chesterfield and Richmond and across the country are invited to try all three flavors, available in stores nationwide, and vote for their favorite," the Lay's representative said.
