One person ejected, two others injured in Prince George County crash

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are injured, including one person who was ejected, after a crash occurred on James River Drive in Prince George County Tuesday evening.

Just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, Prince George County Fire and EMS crews were called to the 11000 block of James River Drive for a reported crash.

When crews arrived, they found a single-vehicle crash with one person who was ejected from the vehicle. Due to the severity of their injuries, officials said a medical helicopter was requested.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

Crews were assisted by Hopewell Fire and EMS as well as Virginia Commonwealth University Health's LifeEvac team.
