One person fighting for life after multi-vehicle crash shuts down I-95 North in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person is fighting for their life after a multi-vehicle crash shut down Interstate 95 North in Chesterfield County on Tuesday.
The crash took place the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 25 along I-95 northbound in the area of Woods Edge Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
As of 8:34 p.m., all northbound lanes are closed.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as first responders work to clear the scene.
This incident is just a few miles south of the scene of a fiery tractor-trailer crash that happened early Tuesday morning.
8News has reached out to both Virginia State Police and Chesterfield County Fire and EMS for more details on this crash. While state police has not responded as of the time of reporting, Chesterfield Fire confirmed that one person involved in the crash was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
