One person is dead after single vehicle crash on I-95

GREENVILLE, Va. (WRIC) -- One person is dead following a single vehicle crash in Greenville, Va. on Saturday morning.

According to Virginia State Police, crews were dispatched at around 8:50 a.m. to respond to a crash on Interstate 95 on Saturday, Nov. 15.

State police have confirmed that one person is dead following the incident. Troopers are actively working to identify the victim and notify next of kin. 

A detour is set up in place around the impacted area, and according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), drivers should seek other routes to avoid delays.
