Over 100,000 homes, businesses without power in Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 100,000 homes and businesses are without power throughout Central Virginia Wednesday afternoon.

As of 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the following localities were experiencing power outages, according to Dominion Energy:

  • Richmond: 17,495 homes and businesses without power
  • Henrico County: 30,692 homes and businesses without power
  • Chesterfield County: 37,104 homes and businesses without power
  • Powhatan County: 6,800 homes and businesses without power
  • Hanover County: 8,136 homes and businesses without power
  • Prince Edward County: 3,197 homes and businesses without power
  • Goochland County: 2,541 homes and businesses without power
  • Amelia County: 2,050 homes and businesses without power
  • New Kent County: 516 homes and businesses without power
