Over 110,000 Virginia homes and businesses lost power due to severe weather

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- After severe weather trekked its way through Virginia it left over 110,000 Virginians without power including thousands in Central Virginia.

These reports come from Dominion Energy, which serves over 2.7 million customers in Virginia.

Central Virginians without power

As of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, the following areas had homes and businesses without power:

  • Richmond: 694
  • Henrico: 1,198
  • Hanover: 338
  • Chesterfield: 568
  • New Kent: 57
  • Goochland: 70
  • Powhatan: 272
