Over 22,000 homes, businesses without power in Central Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Over 22,000 homes and businesses are without power throughout Central Virginia Thursday morning.

As of 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, the following localities were experiencing power outages, according to Dominion Energy:

  • Chesterfield County: 3,703 homes and businesses without power
  • Henrico County: 3,416 homes and businesses without power
  • Richmond: 4,633 homes and businesses without power
  • Powhatan County: 5,125 homes and businesses without power
  • Prince Edward County: 2,829 homes and businesses without power
  • Cumberland County: 1,961 homes and businesses without power
  • Goochland County: 410 homes and businesses without power
  • Amelia County: 397 homes and businesses without power
  • Hanover County: 159 homes and businesses without power

At the peak of outages on Wednesday, Feb. 12, over 130,000 Central Virginia homes and businesses were without power.
