Overnight lane closures coming to I-95 South in Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Drivers should prepare for overnight lane closures on Interstate 95 southbound near Parham Road next week as the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) begins paving work.

Weather permitting, alternating double lane closures will take place between mile markers 84 and 82.5 from Sunday, Aug. 17 through Aug. 21. The work will happen nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

VDOT says ramps in the area will also be closed on a rotating basis during the project. Drivers should follow posted detour signs, use caution and stay alert while driving through work zones.
