Person critically injured after being hit by vehicle at Henrico intersection

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A person was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle at a Henrico County intersection on Wednesday.
According to Henrico County Police Division, a man was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries after a pedestrian crash near the intersection of Hilliard Road and Impala Drive on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Police said the driver remained on scene.
All eastbound lanes of Hilliard Road were shut down at Impala Drive, with drivers being detoured onto Impala.
At 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, police announced that all lanes on Hilliard Road have reopened.
