Person dead after Richmond crash on Hull Street

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A person is dead after a two-vehicle car crash on Hull Street in Richmond Friday morning.

At around 1:15 a.m. on Friday, May 2, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 00 block of Hull Street for a reported crash.

Police said an initial investigation suggests one of the drivers was speeding southbound and collided with another vehicle in the northbound lane.

One of the drivers was then taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
