Person of interest sought in break-in, theft at Henrico business

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police are searching for a person of interest in connection with a break-in that occurred at a business on Oct. 20, during which various items were stolen.

At 8:33 a.m. on Oct. 20, officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to a business within the 5400 block of Chamberlayne Road for the report of a breaking and entering.

When officers arrived, the caller told them that someone had broken into the business the night prior and had stolen various items.

Officers collected evidence and obtained the following photos of the person of interest, which were released in an attempt to assist the public in identifying him:

Officials said the person of interest was seen entering the business at 6:50 p.m. on Oct. 19. Police describe him as an older Black man who is bald and clean-shaven, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with black pants and white shoes.
