Person of interest sought in Henrico SUV theft, stolen credit cards used at convenience store

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico County Police Division is seeking to identify a person of interest in the theft of an SUV at a convenience store.

During the overnight hours of Thursday, Nov. 20 to Friday, Nov. 21, a white Lexus SUV was stolen from a neighborhood off N. Gayton Road near W. Broad Street. The vehicle was later recovered in Richmond.

According to a social post from Henrico Police, detectives learned that the victim's credit card had been used at convenience stores in Henrico County.

In video surveillance obtained by police, a white man wearing a black and white face mask can be seen entering the store and making purchases with that card.

The man can be seen wearing a black hoodie, dark khaki pants and black running shoes.
